Block Party Doxi, Robina
Some of my best childhood memories from the south of Sweden, where I grew up, are of when my mother would bring me along to her painting classes when I was around seven years old. I enjoy experimenting with shapes, colours and materials, to create layers and atmospheres. The paintings have their focus on storytelling, and the most recent work is dealing with myths, and religious stories, putting the characters in different contexts. In the majority of the pictures abstract patterns are mixed with representational images, aiming to create alternative worlds. Robina Doxi
